South Australia Police Investigate Unexplained Infant Death at Glen Osmond Motel

South Australia Police have launched an investigation following the unexplained death of an infant at a motel in Glen Osmond on Saturday morning. Emergency services, including police and ambulance personnel, were dispatched to the Tollgate Motel, located adjacent to the South Eastern Freeway approximately five kilometres south-east of the Adelaide central business district, starting from 9:00 am.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Multiple law enforcement vehicles attended the location throughout the morning, with witnesses estimating that around 20 officers were present at the scene. Police established a cordon around a room at the motel and maintained a presence in the area before departing by mid-afternoon. Local residents reported seeing four to five police cars stationed near the property during the response.

The precise cause of the child's death remains undetermined. Authorities confirmed that Eastern District Detectives and crime scene investigators are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police are currently preparing a formal report for the coroner.
