According to private statements attributed to Le Pen, the upcoming speech will focus on the theme of renewal in an effort to bring optimism to her campaign six months prior to the presidential election. The political address comes as recent polling shows Le Pen leading with support reaching up to 38 percent.

Gilles Ivaldi, a political science researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of Nice, noted that recent violent demonstrations across France could work to the party's advantage.
